  • 03/07/2008: Purcell Miller Tritton partner appointed as Architect to the Foundation of Christ Church

    Jane Kennedy, Principal of leading architect and historic building consultant, Purcell Miller Tritton, has been appointed as the Architect to the Foundation of Christ Church, one of the largest and most beautiful colleges at the University of Oxford. The position will see Jane act as the consultant architect to both the Cathedral Church for the Diocese of Oxford and the college at Christ Church, which together comprise a unique common foundation.

  • 26/06/2008: Broxbournebury Mansion gets a makeover from Purcell Miller Tritton

    Leading architect and historic building consultant, Purcell Miller Tritton, has secured a significant planning consent, subject to the Secretary of State’s approval, as Project Architects on the £16m conservation, restoration and development of the Broxbournebury estate in Hertfordshire. Their new design that incorporates a “sustainable” approach has gained widespread praise following previous schemes that had failed to secure planning and listed building consents.

  • 22/05/2008: PMT win role to convert a listed office block into a luxury hotel

    Situated in Liverpool’s city centre, the new 90 bed hotel and spa will be based in the former Royal Insurance Building. Extensive refurbishment and conservation work will be carried out to restore the seven storey Edwardian structure that has remained empty and in a poor state of repair for over 15 years. It is in such a dilapidated state that it features on the English Heritage Buildings at-Risk Register.
