Tracey Skovronek, Associate

Position
Associate
Profession
Architect

Tracey joined the Colchester studio in 2002. She qualified as an architect soon afterwards and quickly took on a number of exciting job running opportunities. Tracey continued to receive support and training and this, together with the experience she gained on site, ensured that her expertise continued to grow. In 2010, she became an Associate of the practice.

Tracey has worked across the public, educational and ecclesiastical sectors on both contemporary and conservation schemes. She particularly enjoys the challenge of incorporating inspiring contemporary design into the historic environment.

'I have been fortunate to be involved in a range of new building projects as well as being given the opportunity to devise sensitive alterations and extensions to existing buildings'.

She has also been involved in development of the practice's residential sector, particularly in the area of affordable housing. With an interest in socially responsible design, she enjoys finding solutions that maintain quality within her clients' budgetary requirements.

'Working within strict timeframes and budgets can be challenging, but it is all the more rewarding to realise the initial design vision within these constraints'.

Tracey is a team leader, CAD Representative, CPD Coordinator and Sustainability Representative for the Colchester studio.
